EXHIBITIONS: OTAPAN

22 Sep 2018 - 21 Oct 2018 | 9.00am - 4.30am

As part of Soft Centre, Casula Powerhouse will feature an exclusive site specific collaboration between Melbourne-based video installation artist Tristan Jalleh and new Western Sydney hardcore outfit MANA, who will produce a multi-screen AV experience for the Marsden Gallery.

MANA is Serwah Attafuah (DISPOSSESSED) & Heli Newton from defiant local punk outfit NASHO and Hannah Lockwood, one half of industrial techno duo phile. They describe themselves as hellish marauders bringing visceral sounds towards those who stand still. Jalleh will use a process of combining photographs with internet sourced images to construct an immersive hyper-real landscape soundtracked by MANA’s hardcore inspired sound.
